Description
- Conduct comprehensive assessments on pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients using both standardized tools and observational methods.

- Administer targeted one-on-one therapy sessions focused on enhancing communication skills, language use, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.
- Engage in collaborative discussions with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, family members, and caregivers to design holistic care strategies.
- Educate patients and their families to support ongoing advancement outside clinic walls.
- Occasionally assist with inpatient evaluations and therapy sessions, ensuring seamless progression of care throughout the healing journey.
- Maintain meticulous and timely documentation, adhering to all applicable state, federal, and facility protocols.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in speech-language pathology through continuous education and collaborative engagement with peers.
Education
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology obtained from an accredited institution.
- Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) pending ASHA certification.
Certifications
- Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire.
