Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess patients individual needs and customize therapy strategies to help them reach their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to promote improvement in motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living activities
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive and holistic care
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their caregivers on therapy approaches to ensure continued progress at home
• Track Progress and Modify Plans: Document clinical outcomes meticulously and adapt treatment strategies as needed to keep patients on track

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Continuing education or advanced certifications are welcomed and supported

Licenses

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license is required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is necessary
