Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract This opportunity focuses on supporting students' communication development within a K-12 school setting in Marlow, OK. As a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), you will work closely with students, educators, and families to promote progress in speech and language skills. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field qualifying for SLPA licensure Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLPA in Oklahoma Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork abilities Understanding of Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes and educational regulations Responsibilities: Conduct student assessments and assist in creating individualized therapy plans Deliver direct therapy focusing on speech, language, and communication development Collaborate with teachers to implement accommodations within the classroom Monitor and document student progress, modifying plans based on needs Participate in IEP meetings to contribute to goal setting and planning Provide support and resources to parents and caregivers to extend therapy benefits Location: Marlow, Oklahoma K-12 school environment
