Job Title: Therapist - Occupational Therapy Assistant
Join Our Team at Applewood Rehabilitation Center in Winchester, New Hampshire
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Applewood Rehabilitation Center. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping our residents achieve their goals and maintain their independence in a warm and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct occupational therapy assessments and evaluations to identify residents' needs and goals
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote residents' participation in daily activities and improve their functional abilities
Provide hands-on therapy interventions, including exercises, activities, and adaptations, to enhance residents' mobility, balance, and range of motion
Collaborate with occupational therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Educate residents, families, and caregivers on strategies and techniques to maintain independence and manage chronic conditions
Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident progress and treatment plans
Requirements:
Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Studies from an accredited program
Completion of a clinical internship or practicum in occupational therapy
Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTR/A) in the state of New Hampshire
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
What We Offer:
Competitive salary range: $28 - $34 per hour
40 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Weekend rotation required
