Category Schools - SLP - CFY Job Type Contract A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to serve students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade in an elementary school setting in Oxford, AL. This opportunity provides specialized support to children with diverse communication needs, including those with Autism, articulation disorders, language delays, stuttering, and other health impairments. The role offers an engaging environment to deliver teletherapy and in-person services tailored to individual student needs. Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with communication disorders. Deliver therapy services utilizing evidence-based practices both in person and through teletherapy platforms. Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate records and documentation of student performance and treatment. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary care. Desired Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience working pediatric populations in healthcare, school, or teletherapy settings. Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will be considered. Strong understanding of varied communication disorders including autism spectrum disorders and other health impairments. Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with school teams and families.
