Job Summary

Under the supervision of the assigned administrator and Speech and Language Therapist with appropriate licensure by the State of California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board, the SLPA will provide speech and/or language therapy for students with identified special needs. SLPA will collaborate with other professionals to assist the schools in meeting the speech and language needs of pupils. Performs other related services as designed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:

Possession of a valid California state SLPA license.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:

Experience in speech pathology.

PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO INTERNAL CANDIDATES.

PRE EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS (At employee cost if hired)

Available work shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (1/2 hour lunch)
