Job Description:
SUNY Broome Community College is seeking candidates for a part-time Clinical Instructor appointment within the Physical Therapist Assistant Department starting Fall 2025. The department offers an A.A.S. in Physical Therapist Assistant. The program is fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) and is a NYS licensure preparing program.
Clinical Instructors teach within the laboratory setting on campus alongside full-time faculty and are responsible for assisting to prepare students to be successful in the development of skills. Clinical instructors provide hands-on demonstration of skills and assist faculty in the teaching and assessment of student skills.
Requirements:
An Associates degree in Physical Therapist Assistant.
An Active unencumbered New York State PTA or PT License.
PTA clinical and teaching experience preferred.
Must be eligible to work in the United States without a visa sponsorship.
Additional Information:
The hourly rate for Clinical Instructor is $37.72.
Offers of employment will be conditional based upon the results of a satisfactory, required pre-employment Standard Background Check.
