Therapist II (SLP/Aud.)

Duration: 5 Months to Long-term Shift: 8:00 AM- 3:30 PM (M-F) Job Duties: Plan, direct, and conduct therapy programs designed to restore or improve communication efficiency. Diagnose, evaluate, and treat language and speech impairments. Provide referrals to medical specialists when needed. Provide counseling and guidance to clients. Write objectives, evaluations, and progress reports. Knowledge, Skills, Education, and/or Experience: 4 years' experience in applying the theory, principles, and techniques of speech-language therapy or audiology. Must be able to lift, move, and position clients as needed. Experience diagnosing, evaluating, and treating language and speech impairments. Mandatory Skills/Certification(s) Requirement: Current and valid license as a Speech Pathologist/Audiologist. Desired Skills : Experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
