Schedule: Full-Time | 35 hours per week ? School Site: 1 building only ? Pay Range: $40-$60/hour (based on experience) ? Caseload: 25-30 students (Grades 5-6) ? Student Needs: Autism, Down Syndrome, and other speech/language impairments ? Number of Openings: 1 Position Overview: Champaign-area schools are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2024-2025 school year. The selected candidate will work in a single building, serving a caseload of 5th and 6th grade students with diverse communication needs, including those on the autism spectrum , with Down syndrome , and other developmental and language disorders. Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct speech and language services aligned with student IEP goals Conduct assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary evaluations Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs Collaborate with teachers, special educators, paraprofessionals, and families Provide support for AAC and other assistive technologies when appropriate Maintain accurate records and meet all state and district compliance timelines Qualifications: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Illinois state licensure (IDFPR and ISBE PEL with SLP endorsement) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFs may be considered Experience with school-age populations and moderate-to-severe disabilities preferred Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled
