Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist (Fee for Service)

Location: 8775 Norwin Ave # 4, Irwin, PA 15642

Salary Range: Fee for service, starting at $51.00/hour

Schedule: Part-time, 3:00 pm to 7:00 p.m., flexible schedule

About the Team

Our team of Speech Language Pathologists are experienced at helping kids from infancy to age 21 use that gift to their fullest potential. Working with families and caregivers every step of the way, our therapists are passionate about helping kids better understand and communicate with the world around them.

About the Position

The Speech Language Pathologist assists our patients in reaching their maximum functional potential through comprehensive assessments and intervention services. We provide services to infant, pediatric, adolescent and young adult patients. Our therapists participate in interdisciplinary treatment programs, collaborate and consult with others to facilitate the delivery of therapy services. Job responsibilities include:

Evaluates patients' functional abilities and disabilities and identifies impairments through objective tests and measures or standardized assessment tools

Identifies measurable functional goals and develops a treatment plan in collaboration with the patient/family

Implements treatment plan of care and adjusts treatment goals and intervention

Will use objective data to assess patient's frequency and duration of care to optimize therapy benefit, considering clinical and financial factors.

Prepares and plans for discharge during the course of treatment and initiates discharge when indicated

Assesses need for assistive technology appropriate for patient & family.

Qualifications

MS or MA from an accredited Speech/Language Department

Possess Certificate of Clinical Competence, CI is not currently accepting Clinical Fellows in our Outpatient program.

Licensed or Eligible for licensure in Pennsylvania as Speech and Language Pathologist

Experience working with pediatric population is preferred.

Current and valid certification in CPR and First Aid required (will provide training)

Act 33/34 Clearances; FBI Clearance
