Physical Therapy Aide - Weekends

J oin the team at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh as a part time Physical Therapy Aide.

We're looking for a dedicated Physical Therapy Aide t to join our team and support our therapists in delivering top-notch care.

What You'll Do:

• • • Check Cerner for new PT orders and keep our therapists updated.
    • Handle the monthly cleaning of therapy items like ball pits and hydrocollators.
    • Assist with patient safety, splinting, casting, equipment care, and therapy groups.
    • Tag and inventory equipment loaned to our department from outside vendors.
    • Manage the inventory of special needs car seats and contact families about overdue seats.
    • Help transport patients to and from therapy under the supervision of a therapist.
    • Maintain the inventory of assistive devices and keep our storage area in tip-top shape.
    • Complete crash cart and temperature logs for essential equipment like hydrocollators and refrigerators.
