Job Description

Occupational Therapist (OT) - Full-Time School-Based Contract

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Pay: $52/hour (local) or $2,175.50/week (travel, including stipends)

Schedule: 37.5 student contact hours/week

Contract Length: Full 2025-2026 School Year

Amergis is seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a supportive school team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In this full-time contract role, you'll work with students to improve their functional abilities and support their success in the classroom and beyond.

Role Responsibilities

Conduct student evaluations and assessments

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans

Provide direct occupational therapy services in accordance with each student's plan of care

Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports

Contract Details

Local Rate: $52/hour

Travel Rate: $2,175.50/week (includes stipends and full benefits)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours/week

Start Date: August 2025 through the end of the 2025-2026 school year

Licensure: Must hold or be eligible for a Colorado Department of Education SSP License with an Occupational Therapy Endorsement (pending licenses accepted)

Minimum Requirements

Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Colorado

One (1) year of prior professional OT experience (preferred)

CPR certification (if applicable)

TB test or chest X-ray (if applicable)

Current health certificate (if required by contract or state)

Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
