Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - School-Based Contract

Location: Near Castle Rock, CO

Schedule: Part-Time and Full-Time Options Available

Contract Length: Remainder of the 2025-2026 School Year

Amergis is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a collaborative school team near Castle Rock, Colorado. Whether you're looking for part-time flexibility or a full-time opportunity, this role offers the chance to support students' communication development in a meaningful way.

Compensation

Part-Time

Local Rate: $50-$54/hour (based on experience)

Travel Rate: $1,054/week (includes stipends and benefits)

Full-Time

Local Rate: $53-$56/hour (based on experience)

Travel Rate: $2,349/week (includes stipends and benefits)

Role Responsibilities

Conduct student evaluations and assessments

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans

Provide direct speech-language therapy services

Document services in accordance with care plans and physician orders

Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Licensure Requirement

Applicants must be eligible to work in Colorado as a Speech-Language Pathologist and able to obtain a Special Services Provider (SSP) License through the Colorado Department of Education. Pending licenses are accepted.

Minimum Requirements

Active SLP license in Colorado (or eligibility to obtain)

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; may be required by contract

CPR certification (if applicable)

TB test or chest X-ray (if applicable)

Current health certificate (if required by contract or state)

Completion of Amergis' competency program (if applicable)

Strong communication and documentation skills

Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality

Computer proficiency required

Must be at least 18 years old

Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
