Speech Pathology - Joliet, IL

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in school-based services is needed to support communication development in an elementary school setting. This contract position is based in Joliet, IL, and is available for the entire school year.

Responsibilities include providing individualized speech and language assessments, developing and implementing evidence-based therapy plans, and collaborating with educators and families to support students communication needs. The role requires delivering services aligned with educational goals to help students improve their speech and language abilities for better academic and social success.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Possess state certification or licensure as a School Speech-Language Pathologist
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting
• Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment techniques, and intervention strategies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, staff, students, and families
