Job Summary

Outpatient Lymphedema Occupational Therapist

Occupational Therapy Department, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston MA.

Experienced occupational Therapist needed for treatment of oncology patients with lymphedema at a large teaching hospital.

Massachusetts General Hospital's Outpatient PT/OT Department has an opening for a certified lymphedema therapist. MGH is one of the world's most distinguished medical centers and one of the top cancer centers in the country. As a member of the rehabilitation team, you would have opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration with MGH's leading experts in oncology.

As a Center of Excellence, we see patients with Lymphedema that include breast, trunk, head and neck, genital, upper and lower extremity. Ongoing mentorship will be provided to this candidate, including opportunities for collaboration on research.

The successful candidate would have completed a full certification in lymphedema training (LANA not required) and have a solid framework for clinical examination/evaluation skills, excellent communication and a clinical curiosity that drives learning.

Hours are negotiable (40 or less), covering a minimum of a 3 day/week schedule. Opportunity is also available to blend clinical practice with another patient population that the candidate has experience with and is a population seen at this site.

Location Boston main campus site.

Qualifications

Minimum master's degree or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy

Massachusetts Occupational Therapy license required.

The successful candidate would have completed a full certification in lymphedema training (LANA not required).
