The Role- Provide evidence-based physical therapy services, from initial evaluations to discharge planning
- Design and implement customized treatment programs using manual therapy, exercise prescription, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities
- Partner with physicians, care teams, and families to ensure optimal outcomes
- Educate patients and caregivers on home programs, prevention strategies, and long-term health
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes in accordance with professional standards
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and clinic guidelines
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Licensure & Certifications
- Current PT license in the state of Louisiana or eligible for reciprocity
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
