An opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to support students across K-12 grade levels in a New York school setting. This contract position spans the 2025-2026 academic year, providing valuable therapy services to children with diverse needs including mild to severe disabilities such as Autism, cognitive delays, emotional disturbances, and Down Syndrome.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to individual student needs.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
• Utilize expertise in home health, healthcare settings, teletherapy, and school-based occupational therapy.
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to maximize developmental outcomes.
• Maintain thorough documentation complying with school and state regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid New York State Occupational Therapist license is required.
• Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school environments.
• Strong understanding of conditions affecting school-aged children, including autism spectrum disorders and cognitive impairments.
• Ability to manage a caseload involving diverse challenges.
• Proficiency in teletherapy and home health OT methods is advantageous.
