A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support the PreK to Elementary student population in an educational setting in Sweetwater, TN. This contract position provides therapy services designed to enhance student mobility and participation within the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver therapeutic interventions for a caseload of 14 students, tailoring treatment plans to their individual needs.
• Conduct weekly 30-minute sessions with 7 students to promote motor function and physical development.
• Provide bi-monthly sessions for 4 students and monthly sessions for 3 students, ensuring consistent care and progress monitoring.
• Collaborate with educators and school staff to integrate physical therapy goals within classroom activities.
• Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in accordance with licensure and school requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid Tennessee Physical Therapy Assistant license is required.
• Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school or healthcare settings, is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
