Elementary Occupational Therapist School Setting - Elgin, IL

An opportunity is available for a full-time Occupational Therapist to support elementary school students across multiple sites within a district in Elgin, IL for the upcoming school year. This contract position requires a licensed OT to provide therapeutic services that promote student success and well-being in educational settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized occupational therapy services to elementary students
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement treatment plans
• Utilize Embrace software to document and track student progress and therapy outcomes
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
• Maintain compliance with district and state guidelines for school-based therapy

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist license
• Experience working in school-based occupational therapy preferred
• Strong knowledge of pediatric OT interventions for elementary-aged children
• Ability to use computer software for documentation and reporting
