An opportunity is available for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide specialized services in a K-12 school setting serving students with a range of needs, including mild to severe disabilities, autism, cognitive delays, emotional disturbances, and Down syndrome. This position offers a contract for the 2025-2026 school year, working 32.5 hours per week.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid New York State Speech Language Pathologist License
  • Active TSSLD Certification
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology preferred
  • Experience in healthcare and pediatric speech-language therapy
  • Skilled in teletherapy delivery
  • Background working in educational settings across the K-12 spectrum

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students across multiple grade levels
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students unique needs
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Utilize teletherapy methods when applicable to enhance accessibility
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and school policies
