The position is a full-time contract assignment located in Lowell, MA, focused on supporting children with a variety of speech and language disabilities. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering comprehensive speech-language pathology evaluations and interventions aligned with the needs of young learners (K-4)
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting therapy strategies accordingly
- Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) standards
Qualifications and experience preferred:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Massachusetts SLP license and DESE certification
- Minimum of recent experience in school-based speech-language pathology; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will not be considered
- Ability to commit to full-time hours (37.5 per week) for the entire academic year
