Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our growing healthcare team in Tucson, Arizona. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping patients improve their mobility, manage pain, and enhance their quality of life through personalized treatment plans and rehabilitation programs.

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Implement evidence-based physical therapy treatments and rehabilitation programs
  • Assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Document patient care, progress, and treatment outcomes in electronic medical records
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
  • Provide education to patients and caregivers about treatment plans and home exercise programs
  • Supervise physical therapy assistants and rehabilitation technicians
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety protocols
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program development

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Current Arizona state physical therapy license or eligibility for licensure
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and MS Office
  • Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
  • Excellent documentation and communication abilities
  • Experience in outpatient rehabilitation settings
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Physical stamina to assist patients with exercises and movements
  • Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology and rehabilitation techniques
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Commitment to continuing education and professional development
