Autism spectrum and developmental communication support across cultures
Articulation and phonological therapy in native languages
Language development intervention for bilingual learners
Students with communication disorders, hearing impairments, and complex needs from diverse backgrounds
Core Professional Duties Administer speech-language evaluations using bilingual assessment protocols
Develop culturally appropriate therapy plans and goals
Provide individual and group therapy sessions in Spanish and English
Collaborate with bilingual multidisciplinary teams
Support communication needs within RTI/MTSS frameworks
Maintain detailed bilingual documentation and compliance
Conduct family training and consultation in preferred languages
Required Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current ASHA CCC-SLP certification
Active New Mexico speech-language pathologist license
Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English
2+ years of school SLP experience with Hispanic/Latino populations
Training in bilingual/multicultural assessment and intervention
Understanding of dialectal variations in Spanish
Proficiency with digital bilingual therapy platforms
