Job Description

The Adjunct Instructor may be assigned to prepare and deliver lecture(s) in the undergraduate PT-related courses on the main campus in Harrogate, TN as well as participate in the completion of accreditation documents for the professional graduate program in Knoxville, TN.

Required Qualifications

*licensed Physical Therapist and/or Ph.D., DSc, EdD or other doctoral degrees

Preferred Qualifications

Board Certification in specialty area for Physical Therapists.

Job Duties

Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students and to the community at large;

deliver lectures utilizing the latest body of knowledge and evidence;

prepare examination questions as requested;

meet with course directors during as needed and deliver lecture(s) according to published schedule;

serve as an example to learners and colleagues of appropriate professional behavior;

demonstrate and supervise students during clinical educational activities utilizing standardized patients and/or volunteer patients;

supervise students during authorized and approved patient care events including health fairs, sports physicals, or community outreach programs;

complete CAPTE accreditation documents as requested;

attend Program meetings related to accreditation as needed.
