School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - North Tonawanda, New York

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification and school-based experience to provide support in an elementary school setting serving 3rd to 5th grade students. This position is a maternity leave contract running from September 2nd through December 31st, with the possibility of extension. Working full-time hours from 7:45 am to 3:15 pm, you will deliver individual and group mandated speech therapy sessions to approximately 25 students within one building. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech-language evaluations and develop individualized intervention plans. Provide both individual and group therapy sessions focused on student goals. Collaborate with educators and other specialists to support student progress. Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with families and school staff. Desired Qualifications: Valid SLP certification with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Experience working in school settings with elementary-aged children (3rd to 5th grade). Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 25 students with diverse speech-language needs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Familiarity with school documentation and reporting requirements. Location: The assignment is located in a North Tonawanda, NY elementary school. Compensation and Benefits: Hourly pay ranges from $48 to $57, based on experience and qualifications.
