We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Merced, CA. Position Summary:
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will provide direct speech and language services to students from diverse backgrounds in a K-12 school setting. Your role will focus on assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders to enhance students' academic achievement and social interaction. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and screenings. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals. Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in individual and group settings. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes, reports, and IEP paperwork. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals. Stay current with best practices and new developments in speech-language pathology and special education. Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid California Speech-Language Pathology License or eligibility to obtain licensure. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred. Experience working in a school-based setting is highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and student population. Commitment to student-centered, evidence-based practice. Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, during the school year with potential for summer opportunities. Lana Griffin
