A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide services at an elementary school in Des Plaines, IL for the upcoming school year on a contract basis.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid School Speech-Language Pathology license or certification
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students identified with communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve students communication skills
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of student evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports
- Participate in meetings such as Individualized Education Program (IEP) team meetings as required
