A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available providing specialized support to students across multiple PreK-12 schools in Republic, MO. This opportunity is a contract leave assignment running from August 11 to December 17, serving a caseload of approximately 30 to 40 students. The role involves delivering direct therapeutic services, completing evaluations, and managing related documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy intervention tailored to student needs.
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Collaborate with support staff, including para-professionals and other school personnel.
- Maintain accurate and timely paperwork in compliance with district requirements.
- Support students across multiple school settings within the district.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license.
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings.
- Ability to manage a caseload of 30-40 students effectively.
- Expertise in conducting evaluations and writing detailed reports.
- Skill in collaborating with interdisciplinary teams within schools.
