Massage Therapist

This is a commission only position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Practice clean and safe procedures while performing various massage and body treatment services.
• Explain the benefits of treatments offered in a professional manner.
• Promote self-care products that will complement professional services received.
• Follow all sanitation procedures required by the Board of Health to insure a healthy and safe working environment.
• Any and all other responsibilities deemed appropriate or necessary by the Spa & Fitness Director to ensure the overall quality of the products and service delivered to the members and guests.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Must possess a thorough working knowledge of spa facility and services offered.
• Must be sensitive to member/guest needs and wellness related issues.
• Needs a flexible work schedule to include days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Must present and maintain own example of wellness.
• Must be able to lift 20lbs overhead.

Education & Work Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of two years with experience of customer service in country club or service-oriented environment.
• Must possess a current Massage Therapy license.
• Mush have and maintain current CPR/AED certification.
• Proven interpersonal communication skills and customer service techniques.
• Ability to function as a team player and through coaching and counseling, bring out the best in his/her teammates.
