About the Role:
As a Respiratory Therapist at Larkin Palm Springs Campus, you will play a crucial role in the healthcare team, providing specialized care to patients with respiratory issues. Your primary responsibility will be to assess, treat, and educate patients on respiratory conditions, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care. You will work closely with physicians and nursing staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Minimum Qualifications:
Vocational / Technical diploma / Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field.
RRT/CRT valid Florida license.
BLS - Basic Life Support (American Heart Association)
ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (American Heart Association)
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (American Heart Association)
Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Basic computer knowledge.
1 - 3 years of work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field.
- Experience working in a hospital setting, particularly in an emergency room.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory conditions and needs.
- Administer prescribed respiratory therapy treatments and monitor patient progress.
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and equipment usage.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and adjust treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Working with minimal supervision is essential, as you will often be responsible for making quick decisions in high-pressure situations, particularly in the emergency room.
