- Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions emphasizing language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing aspects.
- Engage with a diverse interdisciplinary teamincluding therapists, nurses, and physiciansto craft integrated care plans.
- Provide educational resources for patients and families to facilitate ongoing progress beyond therapy sessions.
- Support occasional inpatient therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring seamless care throughout the patient journey.
- Uphold meticulous documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Stay informed on industry developments through continuous education and interaction with peers.
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required for those yet to achieve ASHA certification.
Licensure and Certifications
- Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- ASHAs Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is highly desired.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed within 30 days of employment commencement.
