Description

- Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions focusing on communication, language mastery, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary professionals including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and family members to ensure cohesive care plans.
- Facilitate education and resources for patients and their families to bolster progress and understanding outside of therapy sessions.
- Participate in inpatient evaluations and interventions as needed, ensuring continuity of care on the therapeutic journey.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records in alignment with state, federal, and organizational compliance standards.

Education
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified.
Certifications
- State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- Preference for Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
