PART-TIME RECREATION AIDE ($17.26/hr)

Assists in supervising and implementing a variety of recreational activities and provides support for facility rentals.
PLEASE NOTE: Must have availability to work evenings and weekends as needed to support recreation programs and activities.Assists in overseeing and implementing a variety of recreational activities; actively engaging with program participants and helping to organize and conduct preschool, afterschool, and summer camp programs.

• Assist with the supervision and implementation of recreational activities; adult programs, afterschool programs and/or summer camps.
• Provide support with facility rentals.
• Candidates under the age of 18 must have a North Carolina Youth Employment Certificate.
• A valid Drivers License is required, excluding those aged 16-17.
• Must be comfortable driving passenger vans.
• Performs related duties as required .

Associate degree and two years of experience planning recreational, athletic , and /or leisure time activities; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Candidates ages 16-17 are exempted from this requirement.

Special Requirement

Possession of a valid North Carolina Drivers License.

Candidates ages 16-17 will not be required to drive Town vehicles and do not need a North Carolina drivers license.
