Travel Speech Therapist - Acute Care Hospital

American Traveler is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist with at least 2 years of experience and a valid license if applicable for a travel assignment.

• Work in a hospital setting within the Speech department
• Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00am to 4:00pm
• 13-week travel contract assignment
• Primary responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans
• Position requires effective communication skills and ability to work independently
• Travelers should expect a supportive team environment
• Must adhere to all health and safety policies

• Current and valid Speech Language Pathologist license required if applicable
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Cannot have a permanent residence within 60 miles of the assignment location
• Must not have been employed as permanent staff at any related facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• COVID vaccination card required
• RQI certifications are not accepted
