Travel Occupational Therapist - Outpatient

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a split outpatient and inpatient role in Wisconsin, requiring at least 1 year of experience and a WI OT license.

• Position consists of approximately 50% outpatient and 50% inpatient caseloads
• Patients are generally scheduled in 45-minute treatment blocks
• Outpatient caseload includes 10-20% pediatric cases focused on autism, sensory integration, and emotion regulation
• Inpatient care varies from 0 to 4 patients and includes an expanding swing bed program
• Work schedule is Monday through Friday, day shifts from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Assignment includes 1-2 hours of weekend coverage every 4th or 5th weekend
• Floating within the hospital is required as needed
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Must complete labs and DS appointment within 48 hours of signing contract
• COVID-19 vaccine is not required
• Candidates cannot live within a 60-mile radius of the facility
• Travelers are obligated to assist during natural disasters or emergency situations
• Compliance deadlines are enforced closely and timely submission of required documents is critical
• If multiple holidays occur during the assignment, only one holiday RTO request will be accepted

• Current WI Occupational Therapist license required; pending license accepted but must be active before start (License required if applicable)
• Minimum of 1 year recent, relevant OT experience
• Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy required
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Must submit resume, transcript or diploma, and at least 3 references (2 peers and 1 department chair) within 1 week of signing for consideration
