Speech Language Pathologist - $10,000 Sign-On Bonus
37.5 hours per week with some flexibility..
Rome Health is rapidly expanding and we have a need to fill a full-time Speech Language Pathologist for our outpatient therapy clinic at Chestnut Commons.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patients' levels of speech or language difficulty through communication and standardized tests.
Develop and carry out individualized treatment plans
Assist patients in articulating sounds and improving voice quality.
Work with patients to improve reading and writing skills.
Develop and implement exercises to strengthen the muscles used in swallowing.
Counsel patients and families on coping mechanisms for communication disorders.
Maintain accurate records of patient evaluations, diagnoses, treatment progress, and changes in treatment plans.
Complete final evaluations when patients finish therapy.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. (Required)
Experience:
Completion of a degree program associated with Speech-Language Pathology is required.
Licenses and Certifications:
New York State license for Speech-Language Pathology.
Must have their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
