Massage Therapist - Hospice - Metro

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate candidate to provide massage therapy to our hospice patients. This role is a contracted position with the option to make your own schedule. This role requires travel to patients' homes or care facilities. This would be for 10-15 hours per week in the Minneapolis area.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide consistent, professional massage and body treatments in accordance with Hospice protocols and accepted certification practices
• Handle patient questions and concerns professionally and courteously
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment
• Thoroughly chart all visits through Homecare Homebase
• Communicate schedules with patient's families
• Create a consistent schedule of visits for each patient
• Communicates with the rest of the care team on each patient's condition

Hospice Massage Therapist Requirements :

• Independent Massage License required
• A minimum of 3 years of therapeutic massage required
• Ability to provide proof of Professional Liability Insurance
• College Degree Preferred
• MBLEX Completion Preferred
• Experience in health care or hospice setting preferred
• Experience with geriatric population preferred
• Ability to accept different lifestyles, cultures, beliefs, and values
• Proficiency with computers
• Possesses and maintains current CPR certification.
• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state/or organization requirements and is in good working order.
