Pulmonary Technician

Responsible for the day to day function of the Pulmonary Function department.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: High School Diploma with RFPT Certification --or--

  • Associate's Degree from Allied Health or another AMA approved respiratory care program

• Upon hire: Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License

• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

• Upon hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association

• Must have completed Pulmonary Function department orientation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Upon hire: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)- National Board for Respiratory Care

• Upon hire: Active member of the American Association of Respiratory Care (AARC)

• 1 year previous hospital based work experience, in the field of Pulmonary Function.

• 2 years experience in performing a wide range of testing including cardiopulmonary exercise testing.
