Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for a K-12 school setting in Lusby, MD, to provide essential services throughout the upcoming school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to support students with communication disorders and collaborate with educators and families to promote academic success and social development. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for K-12 students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs. Provide direct therapy services both individually and in small groups. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and district policies. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Preferred Qualifications: Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in a school setting. Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based intervention techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and motivate children of varying ages and needs. Familiarity with educational regulations and standards.
