Respiratory Care Assistant Per Diem
Respiratory Therapy
The Respiratory Care Assistant Per Diem will:
- Setup, maintain and disinfect various types of respiratory care equipment
- Remove discontinued respiratory care equipment from patient bedside and transport infected equipment to the respiratory processing rooms using appropriate infection control techniques.
- Assist RCP's with necessary equipment and medical supplies when requested
- Transport equipment between inpatient units and procedure areas as directed by a Respiratory Care Practitioner
Requirements:
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to interact with various levels, including physicians, nursing, co-workers, etc.
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple simultaneous demands
- Teamwork focused
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing needs
Salary Range: 17.30 - 23.36 USD
We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.
The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
