The Rehab Technician supports the assembly, delivery, and maintenance of custom and standard rehabilitation equipment. This includes prepping equipment based on client evaluations, assisting with minor repairs, and helping manage warehouse inventory. The role ensures that equipment is safe, functional, and delivered on time to meet patient needs.

Job Expectations
Equipment Setup & Maintenance
- Assemble or modify rehab equipment based on client assessments
- Inspect equipment for safety and function
- Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs in-shop or in the field
- Coordinate equipment returns, demos, and loaners
- Maintain accurate documentation (serial numbers, service dates, etc.)
Delivery & Client Support
- Deliver and set up equipment in patient homes
- Provide basic instruction on equipment use
- Assess patient homes for safety and equipment compatibility
- Communicate client needs or changes in condition to the team
- Responsible for setup and oversight of oxygen patients in the Fort Worth/Dallas area to assist with tank refills and maintenance as needed
- Responsible for on call for all DME matters in Fort Worth/Dallas area
- Responsible to assist with pick up of bent metal equipment as needed
Warehouse & Inventory
- Receive and stock new equipment
- Clean, stage, and organize items per company standards
- Report shipment damages or shortages
- Maintain accurate inventory records
Repair & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and repair damaged or malfunctioning equipment
- Modify existing equipment per client requirements
- Use test equipment such as digital multimeters
- Prepare repair quotes and warranty paperwork as needed
Quality Assurance
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned, safe, and operational before delivery
- Maintain proper documentation for all rental and repaired equipment
- Keep updated files for equipment manuals and service logs
Qualifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in equipment repair and electronics on motorized wheelchairs
- Experience with warehouse or delivery operations
- Understanding of custom rehab equipment
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 300 lbs (with or without assistance)
- Frequent standing, bending, and reaching
- Able to operate delivery vehicles safely
