Description

• Deliver focused speech therapy interventions, emphasizing communication skills, language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing rehabilitation.
• Team up with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, families, and caregivers to design cohesive, patient-centered care solutions.
• Educate patients and their families to reinforce progress made during therapy sessions outside of the clinical environment.
• Participate in occasional evaluations and interventions for inpatient speech therapy patients, ensuring seamless care throughout their healing journey.
• Document treatment processes accurately, adhering to state, federal, and organizational standards.

Education

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution is required.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be achieved within 30 days of hire.
