Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A Speech-Language Pathologist with SLP-CCC certification is needed for a contract position serving a K-12 educational setting in Hartsville, SC. This role offers approximately 24 hours per week for the school year, supporting a mixed caseload spanning kindergarten through 12th grade students. The position requires three days per week on-site, with a focus on delivering high-quality speech therapy services tailored to the varied needs of school-aged children. Key Responsibilities: Provide individualized speech and language evaluations, assessments, and therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders. Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with educational and clinical standards. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Support students in achieving communication goals that enhance participation and academic success. Qualifications and Experience: Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is mandatory. Experience working within pediatric and school-based settings, including familiarity with CFY and healthcare models, is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of speech and language development across the K-12 spectrum. Ability to manage a diverse caseload with varying communication disorders. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and education staff. Location: Hartsville, South Carolina
