The team includes two board-certified ENT physicians, two experienced physician assistants, and two audiologists. Position Overview: NVENTA is seeking a motivated Audiologist or licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist to join their practice. This position offers flexibility for either full-time or part-time work and requires a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, team-centered environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset. Candidates must be comfortable switching gears quickly, whether it's shifting between diagnostics, device counseling, or patient education. Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive audiological evaluations for all ages, including infants and children, using age-appropriate methods such as OAEs, sound field testing, and play audiometry. Conduct adult and pediatric diagnostics, including pure tone, speech, tympanometry, OAE, and vestibular assessments. Provide evaluations and fittings for bone-anchored hearing aids (BAHA). Collaborate with ENT physicians, physician assistants, and fellow audiologists on patient care and treatment planning. Counsel patients and families on hearing loss, hearing aid options, and assistive listening devices. Maintain accurate documentation and participate in care coordination within a multidisciplinary setting. Contribute to developing in-house services such as tinnitus management or CAPD evaluations if desired. Requirements: Licensed Audiologist (Au.D. or equivalent) or Hearing Instrument Specialist in the state of Connecticut, or eligibility to obtain. Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to manage a diverse patient population. Excellent interpersonal communication and a proactive, flexible work style. Interest in collaborative, cross-functional care delivery.
