Description

• Implement tailored speech therapy interventions aimed at enhancing communication, language skills, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing abilities.
• Partner collaboratively with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and families to establish holistic care strategies.
• Engage with patients and their families by providing educational resources to support progress beyond clinical settings.
• Participate in inpatient evaluations and therapies when needed, ensuring uninterrupted care throughout every stage of treatment.
• Keep thorough and timely documentation consistent with state and federal regulations.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an institution accredited by relevant boards.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), if ASHA certification is not yet acquired.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of commencement of employment.
