  • Work collaboratively with a team that includes physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians to devise integrated care solutions.
  • Provide educational resources to patients and their families, ensuring they are equipped to foster progress beyond clinical settings.
  • Occasionally perform inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless treatment transitions throughout the recovery journey.
  • Document patient records meticulously in line with statutory, federal, and organizational requirements.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and exchange of ideas through collaborative learning with peers in your field.

Education

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not previously ASHA-certified.

Certifications

  • State licensure as a Speech Language Therapist .
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first 30 days of employment.
