Respiratory Tech-Non-Certified

This is a temporary job class which is to The Respiratory Tech is responsible for providing Respiratory services to both inpatients and outpatients under the supervision of a Respiratory Care Therapist. This is a temporary job class for the Respiratory care student who is enrolled and progressing in an accredited school for respiratory and has completed a minimum 1 semester.

Responsible for delivery of appropriate respiratory care in a timely and courteous manner, this is a job class specific to limited service staff that have completed competency in General Floor Therapy.

**Position Requirements** :

+ Successfully progressing in an AMA approved Respiratory program, graduation within 12 months of hire.

+ Achieve CRT credential within 90 days of completion of program and submit licensure requirement for state of IL.

+ Remain in non-licensed category regardless of credential achieved till licensed.

+ CPR Certification.

+ ACLS / PALS/ Certification within 12 months of hire
