Description
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and elderly demographics employing both standardized assessments and careful observations.
- Create tailored treatment plans that address immediate objectives while considering long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing challenges.
- Deliver individualized speech therapy focused on communication skills, language fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.
- Engage with a multidisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families to outline cohesive care plans.
- Provide educational resources and guidance for patients and families to foster improvement outside of therapy sessions.
- Support inpatient efforts when needed, ensuring continuity of care throughout the rehabilitation journey.
- Stay aligned with state, federal, and institutional regulations through accurate documentation and reporting.

Education
- A Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified.
Certifications
- State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
