  • Educate patients and their families, providing tools to encourage progress beyond clinic visits.
  • Participate in occasional speech therapy evaluations and interventions for inpatients, ensuring a seamless continuity of care.
  • Maintain precise and timely patient documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational policies.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay aligned with the latest advancements in Speech-Language Pathology.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.

Licenses & Certifications

  • Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
