Position Overview:
As a part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will work closely with licensed Occupational Therapists to provide hands-on care to patients undergoing rehabilitation. Your role will involve implementing individualized treatment plans that aim to improve patients& ability to perform daily activities, regain functional skills, and enhance their overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in delivering occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Support patients in exercises and activities designed to improve physical and cognitive abilities.
• Educate patients and caregivers on techniques to continue therapy at home.
• Document patient progress, treatments, and responses to therapy in accordance with clinic policies.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable treatment environment for patients.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Pennsylvania.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF), outpatient, or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
